Purpose: Private, non-commercial website – an open reference work on the double bass (history, bassists, literature). Some texts are written with the help of an AI (Claude, Anthropic) from generally documented facts and are checked. Details about people come from public sources (e.g. Wikidata, MusicBrainz) or from the people themselves.

No liability is accepted for the content of external links.

Privacy

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising services. Search and filters run only in your browser.

Hosting: The site is delivered via Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.), which processes technically necessary connection data (e.g. IP address, time, requested page) to deliver the site securely.

“Contribute” form: What you enter there is stored at Cloudflare so we can check it. We use your email address only for questions and never publish it. If you list yourself, we only publish the details about you with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); you can withdraw it at any time by email and we will remove the entry.

People in the list: We only show professional, publicly documented details (legitimate interest in a reference work, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you don’t want to be listed or something is wrong, write to us – we will change or remove the entry.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, objection and to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority. Requests to info@cleebration.com.
